CFTE co-organised this educational talk on blockchain and real economy use cases with alumnus Bowie Lau from MaGESpire, exploring how blockchain technology is applied across a range of industries in the real world.

Bowie Lau, Founder and Managing Director of MaGEHold and MaGESpire, moderated the panel, alongside panelists Daphne Ng, Co-Founder and CEO of Dedoco, and Joseph Khan, Chief Operations Officer at Enjinstarter. A networking session followed the panel discussion.

Daphne Ng is Co-Founder and CEO of Dedoco, a document and workflow management platform focused on protecting data privacy and document security using blockchain technology. Founded in 2020, Dedoco now transacts thousands of documents monthly across government, banks, financial institutions, professional services, real estate and tech platforms globally.

A regular speaker and advisor on blockchain applications for enterprise, Daphne was listed on SG100 Women in Tech in 2021 and previously ranked #3 in Top 10 Women in Fintech (APAC). She is a Professional Council Member of the Global Fintech Institute and sits on the Board of SGTech as its Lead for the Web3/Blockchain Workgroup.

Chief Operations Officer, Enjinstarter

Joseph Khan is Chief Operations Officer at Enjinstarter, bringing 20 years of experience across companies including Xbox, Facebook, Grab, Microsoft, Dell, Nokia and Unilever, working as Head of Department or Team Lead across APAC and global markets.

He was involved in major game launches including Halo and Mass Effect, and previously served as an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore's Masters programme.
